Free, public meetup for witches and spiritual seekers to create glowing lanterns, craft community, and welcome back the returning light.

As the nights grow longer and the world leans toward the darkest part of winter, the Sagittarius New Moon calls us to kindle hope, creativity, and warmth. Join the Wyrd Scouts for a cozy evening of hands-on crafting as we make glowing lanterns from repurposed, recycled, and natural materials — a celebration of light in the season of shadow and a warm path toward the Winter Solstice.

This is a free, public event open to all witches, spiritual folks, beginners, and curious seekers. Everyone is welcome to craft with us, laugh with us, and prepare something beautiful for the coming winter festivals.

🕯️ What We’ll Do
This meetup is centered on creating a lantern you can use for both magical practice and community celebration.

Participants will:
• Make a personalized handmade lantern using repurposed, recycled, and natural materials
• Add Winter Solstice symbols like berries, evergreens, suns, and candles
• Learn how this project supports the Fire • Creative Fire • Flame in the Hands badge
• Prepare their lanterns for the Frost & Flame Festival
• Enjoy a relaxing evening of creativity and connection with other witches and seekers

No crafting experience needed — we’ll guide you step by step.

🎒 What to Bring
• Yourself — all core materials will be provided
• Optional extras: paint, markers, glue guns, pressed flowers, stickers, ribbons, or any decorative elements you’d love to add to your lantern
• A battery-operated candle if you plan to attend the Return of Light ceremony
