Healing Hikes encourage you to connect inward with yourself and outward with nature and the community. This hike is in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month and The Outdoor Journal Tour's #WeHikeToHeal challenge.This Healing Hike will be at Coyote Ridge Trail, a 4.1 mile heavily trafficked out-and-back trail located near Fort Collins, Colorado that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels.
The trail features a view overlooking the city and a cabin, which we will be stopping at for an all-level yoga class, journaling, and short discussion.
Distance: 4.1 mi
Elevation Gain: 564 ft
Difficulty: easy
Remember to bring:
- good walking shoes
- water
- any layers you might want: hat, jacket/windbreaker, etc.
- sunscreen
- journal
- pen/pencil
no need to bring a yoga mat, but you might want a towel to sit on
Find us: Meet by the trailhead. Jessica Lucey of Sun Breath Yoga is the lead organizer of this event - she will have a multicolored REI backpack.

- Restroom: None by the trailhead. There is a vault toilet on the trail available about 1 mile in.
- Fee: None
