This is a WW2 event hosted by NorthWoods Living History and the Ozaukee County Historical Society. This site is for living history participant and vendor registration only - not for general public ticket sales. GENERAL PUBLIC TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY AT THE GATE ON EVENT DAY.
Tentative General Schedule:Thursday 5/15/25: Setup ONLY beginning at 12pm. All participants check in at Welcome Center - bring EventBrite ticket!!!
Friday 5/16/25: Comumunity Day 9am-3pm. Friday night setup begins at 3pm (grounds to be cleared of public before cars can enter). LIVING HISTORY SWAP MEET starts at 4pm (depot and grass area next to depot - rain location will be inside village hall).
Saturday 5/17/25: Event Open to the Public 9am-4pm. GROUP PHOTO TO BE TAKEN BEFORE GATES OPEN.
Sunday 5/18/25: FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST TO START THE DAY the tear down and head home. Park needs to be cleared by 11:00am on Sunday.
The Historical Society will be coordinating "Community Preview Day" on Friday from 9am - 3pm. Friday will be a scaled down show without the battles and vehicle parade. Saturday will be the main public event with 2 public battles and opportunities for public announced demonstrations. Saturday night, enjoy the evening with a reenactor social. We have a modernized, 200x100 pole barn with modern facilities that will be used for the social. Food and drinks are offered during the day (at own cost). Alcohol is allowed and will be sold throughout the event - please limit alcohol consumption to AFTER show hours. Free firewood will be available for night-time leave no trace campfires.

We encourage ALL participants to "LIKE" our Facebook page "WWII Living History Event Pioneer Village" - this page is used to announce updates and/or changes. There will be LIVE FRIDAY NIGHT CHATS starting in April to keep everyone in the loop of how the event is coming along and what to expect. Please note, when you register, you are also completing your event waiver. YOU MUST BRING YOUR EVENTBRITE TICKET FOR CHECK-IN!!! Walk-ins will be limited - no camp sites for walk in participants.
** MINORS: YOU MUST HAVE A LEGAL GUARDIAN/PARENT SIGN YOUR EVENTBRITE TICKET. GUARDIAN/PARENT CONTACT INFORMATION MUST BE PRINTED ON THE TICKET. FOR YOUTH UNDER 18 TO PARTICIPATE IN BATTLES - PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST BE ON PARK GROUNDS AND YOUTH MUST HAVE COMPLETED HUNTERS SAFETY TRAINING.
PARTICIPATION FEE: LIVING HISTORY & VENDOR fee is $5.00 ($10 if you're feeling generous). We are not offering the $5 lunch coupon. Fees cover any incidentals for the event including but not limited to insurance, advertising, supplies, etc. Vendors not dressing in WWII attire should wear an event wristband for the weekend (to prevent any issues with gate admissions). Family members who will be on site for minors, will be required to pay $5.00 for a weekend wristband as well unless they volunteer at the event.
Sunday pancake breakfast will be served at "Town Hall" to ALL participants and OCHS volunteers. Food and beverages are also available for purchase on the grounds during show hours. Small leave no trace campfires will be permitted throughout the village for camp meal preparations as well with firewood provided - please do not bring wood from home.
FRIDAY NIGHT SWAP MEET:All participants are welcome to participate in a swap meet on Friday night starting at 4pm -- NO TABLE FEE!!! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ITEMS - we do not have volunteers to help watch tables. You will need to bring your own table(s). Sale will be held near the Train Depot -- OUTSIDE. All items MUST BE PACKED UP by Friday at 10pm. Any participant not cleared out of the swap meet area by opening hours on Saturday will be charged the $10 vendor fee. Please bring your own change!!!
Ozaukee County Pioneer Village is located 25 miles north of Milwaukee, in the Town of Saukville. It is situated 1 mile south of Fredonia. Beautiful, wooded park. Very convenient location - easy access to highways, gas stations, banks, grocery stores, restaurants.
All updates and communications for this event will take place on our Facebook page: WWII Days - OCHS Pioneer Village. Live Facebook feeds will take place leading up to the event date to help keep attendees informed and to answer any questions regarding the event itself. We encourage least at one person from each participating unit to be a member of our Facebook page to keep communication open between units and planners. Do not ask for email updates - it won't happen due to time constraints.
