**PLEASE NOTE AN EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY TO ATTEND THIS EVENT – SEE LINK BELOW. Responding as “Going” to this event on Facebook does not reserve a spot; you must register on Eventbrite in order to attend this event.**

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EVENT:

This trail includes grasslands, woods, wetlands, Lincoln Creek, an urban arboretum and educational gardens.

LIABILITY WAIVER: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis. Link here

FOR HIKING EVENTS:

Due to local guidelines, and in accordance with Leave No Trace Principles, Women Who Explore limits the number of attendees for hiking or outdoor events. To make sure we are following local guidelines, every attendee must register through Eventbrite. In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Anja directly! NO TRAIL PERMITS NEEDED

WHAT TO BRING:

Read more about the 10 Essentials HERE. As this is an easy loop hike close to where cars are parked in a populated urban area, it is unlikely you will need a full dayhike kit. Please bring:

• Drinking water

• Trail snacks

• Dress warm & in layers. Consider wearing a base layer & bringing an extra.

• Warm gloves & hat

• Rain coat top layer

• Shoes with good traction

• A light backpack to put layers in as you shed them

• Handwarmers & toe warmers (optional)

• Headlamp or flashlight

• Personal hygiene kit

If you are attending an outdoor event, please make sure to brush up on the Leave No Trace Principles HERE.

ALL EVENTS:

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.** Here is a link to more information about the trail:

Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador hosting the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
