WWE Salem/Eugene OR - Spring Equinox Sunset Hike at Mt Pisgah (Moderate)

~~~EVENT INFORMATION~~~
Join me in Eugene for a moderate 3.5 mile hike with 1,053ft of elevation gain. This hike starts at the North Trailhead area of Mt Pisgah (NOT THE MAIN TRAIL). This will be a moderately paced hike as we will want to reach summit in time for the sunset at 7:25pm.

WHO:
• Womxn 18+ (minors are currently not able to attend Women Who Explore events)
• Dogs are welcome but must follow leash rules at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* pack your full supply of water for the day

* headlamp/flashlight

* pack snacks and light dinner if needed

* dress appropriately; bring layers (dress warm and in layers, remember gloves and a hat)

* rain coat/top layer/warm gloves/warm hat or tuque

* shoes with good traction (that can get dirty)

* bring a light backpack to put layers in as you shed them

* hand warmers & toe warmers (optional)

* trekking poles (for steep areas)
