WWE Salem/Eugene OR - Full Moon Galentine's Hike at Mt Pisgah

Join me in Eugene for a moderate 3.5 mile hike with 1,053ft of elevation gain. This hike starts at the North Trailhead area of Mt Pisgah (NOT THE MAIN TRAIL). We will be hiking in the dark so make sure to bring a headlamp or flashlight.

WHO:
• Womxn 18+ (minors are currently not able to attend Women Who Explore events)
• Dogs are welcome but must follow leash rules at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* pack your full supply of water for the day

* headlamp/flashlight

* pack snacks and light dinner if needed

* dress appropriately; bring layers (dress warm and in layers, remember gloves and a hat)

* rain coat/top layer/warm gloves/warm hat or tuque

* shoes with good traction (that can get dirty)

* bring a light backpack to put layers in as you shed them

* hand warmers & toe warmers (optional)

* trekking poles (for steep areas)

Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.
CANCELATION POLICY:
If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.**In the case of severe weather, this event will be canceled.
COVID-19 POLICY:
By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore, which include:
• Practice social distancing.
• Carry a personal hygiene kit (mask and hand sanitizer) and have it available during the event.
• Refrain from sharing transportation, gear, food or close spaces with others outside of your household.
• Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
