Join us for a gorgeous day out at Red Rock Canyon! 🌄

We’ll be hiking the White Rock Hills Loop clockwise, starting from the Willow Springs Picnic Area (not the White Mountain parking lot). There is a bathroom available at the trailhead.

This scenic loop is approximately 6.2 miles with about 1,200 feet of elevation gain, and is rated moderate—perfect for anyone looking for a solid, beautiful adventure without extreme difficulty.

FOR HIKING EVENTS:

Due to local guidelines, and in accordance with Leave No Trace Principles, Women Who Explore limits the number of attendees for hiking or outdoor events. To make sure we are following local guidelines, every attendee must register through Eventbrite. In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Terri directly!

ENTRY PASS: You’ll need an American the Beautiful Park Pass or pay $20 to enter Red Rock Canyon. You won’t need a timed entry pass because you’ll enter before 8am.

TRAILHEAD DIRECTIONS: Meet at the Willow Springs Picnic area. Google and Apple maps should pull up Willow Springs Picnic area. DO NOT meet at the White Rock trailhead, which is just a bit before the Willow Springs area. This is inside the scenic loop, so you’ll need a park pass or pay $20 to enter. Since we’re meeting at 8am, you’ll enter the scenic loop before 8 and won’t need a timed entry reservation. The trailhead is about ½ way through the Scenic Drive. Please plan for extra time to get through the entrance gate and drive to the trailhead.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Pack plenty of water, at least 2L

• Pack snacks

• Shoes with good traction

· Sunscreen and Hat

· Dress for the weather

· Hiking poles if you’d like

If you are attending an outdoor event, please make sure to brush up on the Leave No Trace Principles HERE.

** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**

EVENT GUIDELINES FOR SICKNESS: Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador hosting the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
