We’ll be gathering at Dormont Park, Small Pavilion (Near the Ball Field), for a day of games, music, face painting, henna, art, and a vibrant showcase of Kenyan culture and delicious eats!

Who We Are: WWAYI is a nonprofit organization in Kenya dedicated to empowering and advocating for girls, women, and youth. We focus on dismantling barriers through education, essential resources, and mental and reproductive health support. We support underage mothers resume education post-pregnancy by providing tailored academic opportunities, financial aid, and childcare. WWAYI also addresses the interconnected issues of mental and reproductive health by offering comprehensive reproductive health education sessions in local schools to empower young people to make informed decisions about their well-being. In addition, we provide hygiene products like sanitary towels, underwear, and toiletries to combat period poverty. Our Kemizola program offers financial assistance for funeral expenses and therapy for families coping with infant and pregnancy loss. WWAYI is committed to promoting sustainable development and empowerment for girls, women, and youth in our communities through these efforts.
