WVMO Presents an Evening of Americana Music, Community, and Lakefront Views at San Damiano Park
Nestled on 10 scenic acres overlooking Lake Monona, San Damiano Park provides a one-of-a-kind backdrop for outdoor concerts. Guests enjoy panoramic views of the Madison skyline and the Wisconsin State Capitol while gathering with family, friends, and neighbors for an evening of music, food, and community.
Opening the evening at 5:00 p.m. will be a special guest performer to be announced soon. At 7:00 p.m., Minneapolis-based The Last Revel will take the stage.
Known for their heartfelt songwriting and rich vocal harmonies, The Last Revel has become one of the Midwest's premier Americana and indie-folk bands. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the trio's music reflects the trials, triumphs, and perseverance of pursuing dreams while remaining deeply connected to their Midwestern roots. Their authentic storytelling, thoughtful lyrics, and energetic live performances have earned them a devoted following throughout the country.
Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy local food trucks, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and opportunities to connect with community organizations while relaxing along the lakefront. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and experience an evening where music meets the lake. Park your cars at the Monona Grove High School.
Admission is free, and donations are welcomed to support future programming at San Damiano Park and community broadcasting through 98.7FM WVMO.
