OFFICAL WVJR EVENT.....WELCOME TO SEDONA DAY. This is a 5 trail day =).....This is stock friendly, but will be a little moderate for bone stock non-rubi's. But very doable. We will be running five different trails. We will start with Broken Arrow. That is first because we want to beat the pink jeeps with the size of the group we have. Then we will all go and do outlaw, greasy spoon and cliffhanger. From there we will finish with Schnebly Hill (it's an official Jeep Badge of Honor trail for those wanting to get it. It ends at i-17 to finish the day for everyone. We will be at the top of schnebly before sunset. Some of us will be camping overnight. Those that wish to camp we will set up tents, etc. Everyone else is free to air up and drive on home. Depending on time, we may stop in sedona for lunch (will take a group consensus), but plan on brining all of your own food/snacks and drinks. This is an all day thing, so plan accordingly.
All trails can be done in a stock Jeep, you just may find a few spots that we may have to spot but definitely on the lower range of moderate for a stock jeep...perfect for beginners
Meeting at Holiday Inn Express Sedona - Oak Creek, (larger parking lot to stage) please stop and fill up gas first on your way in. Meeting at 7:45am. Hard Roll out to trail at 8:15.
Comms: GMRS (or a programmable frequency radio)
Vehicle recommendations: stock and anything above!
Bring: Lunch, Trail snacks/drinks, Emergency supplies, Water, Comms, Recovery gear.
You assume all risks to yourself, passengers, vehicle, etc. by your participation. Please no alcohol, drugs, or anything that would detract from a safe and family friendly atmosphere.
