WVDE Summer Conference: TEAMS

Teams of educators from each county are invited to participate in the TEAMS - Targeted Efforts to Advance Middle Schools conference, to be held on July 29th at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.

This conference focuses on strengthening and transforming middle school education. This conference will offer a cohesive set of sessions focused on the West Virginia Building Blocks for Effective Middle Schools. Sessions will address the needs of middle school teachers, administrators, and student support staff, and include opportunities to hear from successful practitioners in the field.

The day will be designed to help district and school teams reflect on current practices and beliefs related to middle grades learning while exploring what makes middle schools effective. Come be part of the learning, and together we can turn ideas into action as TEAMS - Targeted Efforts to Advance Middle Schools.
