Step into the windswept moors of Yorkshire before the new Wuthering Heights adaptation hits theaters! Join us at the Shadle Library for an afternoon dedicated to Emily Brontë’s timeless masterpiece, Wuthering Heights.
We will be screening the classic 1939 film starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. Following the movie, we’ll dive into a lively discussion comparing the book to the 1939 version—noting key differences and what they mean for the story. We’ll also spend some time discussing what the upcoming 2025 theatrical version might bring to the table!
