The Road to Compliance (Eurofins E&E)
· What is compliance? Understanding that it’s not just about a CE mark
· Identifying the steps to delivering a compliant product – it’s much more than just testing
· What you need to do and who needs to do it – who is responsible for what?
· Things change – ensuring on-going compliance and what’s new in the world of compliance
EMC for EMC (Wurth Electronics)
This presentation covers cable termination methods, emphasizing best practices and design optimization. It explains the drawbacks of single-sided cable termination to avoid ground loops. Additionally, it explores quality cable shielding and reveals essential insights that manufacturers may not disclose. You will learn to assess cable value for their specific applications. All the key topics are condensed into this concise, knowledge-packed presentation.
Why compliance is often done incorrectly (Eurofins E&E)
· The Declaration of Conformity – what it is, who creates it and why most of them are wrong
· The Technical File – what is it and what it needs to contain
· Product & Packaging Labelling – why this is important and why it gets overlooked
· Keeping it compliant – why compliance is an on-going process and what you need to do once the products is on the market
EMC design considerations - layout and test modes for RF modules (Wurth Electronics)
Considered using one of Wurth Electronics' pre-certified RF modules? Here we will inform you of the EMC design considerations with regards to PCB layout to minimize ground loops and the consequent magnetic fields, filter component selection and placement as well as guidance of antenna position with respect to ground planes. We will also demonstrate how to enable the Direct Test Mode on the applicable RF modules in our series to help speed up the EMC and Radio compliance test program.
