WTS-LA: Small Business Speed Networking

Join us for a speed networking event on Wednesday, June 26th at 8:00-10:30 am at the Caltrans District 7 Headquarters.

We will be hosting public sector speakers who will provide updates on upcoming transportation procurement opportunities related to professional services and construction, followed by a speed networking event for primes and small businesses.

This one-of-a-kind event is designed to foster new relationships and teaming opportunities in support of Small Business month.

Speakers include:

• Carolina Coppolo, LA Metro, Executive Officer of Vendor/ Contract Management
• Ted Allen, City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, City Engineer
• Laura Cornejo, City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation, General Manager

A light breakfast will be provided.

Small Businesses are encouraged to bring marketing or collateral materials to share with primes at the speed networking event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

A limited number of self-parking may become available at the Caltrans Headquarters building. Once this option is confirmed, please register for the "Self-parking at Caltrans HQ" ticket type to reserve a parking space. More details on pricing and logistics to follow. Please consider carpooling because only a limited number of parking spaces would be available.

Self-parking will be at the Doubletree Hotel, 120 South Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 at the hotel's daily/hourly rate.

The venue is also nearby the Pershing Square Metro stop.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can either bring your printed ticket or display your ticket on your mobile device using the Eventbrite app.

Will Corporate Partner vouchers be accepted for this event?

What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be available for this event, but you may be eligible to transfer your registration to another WTS member. Please notify Monica Villalobos of VICUS at [email protected] in advance if transferring your registration. We appreciate your support of the WTS-LA Small Business/EDI Program!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Your registration/ticket is only transferrable to another WTS member. Please contact the WTS-LA Membership Chair Lynn Feng of AECOM at [email protected] for WTS membership questions.

Registration is closed, can I still register for the event?

Once registration is closed you will no longer be able to purchase tickets through the Eventbrite page. We do offer a limited number of walk-in tickets the day of the event, but we cannot guarantee that you will receive a walk-in ticket. All walk-in tickets are subject to a $20 late fee.
