Ella is using her birthday as an excuse to bring activists together for Canterburys biggest diamond yet! Last years two big events went really well & and we’ve had countless positive outreach conversations at these - she's super excited to see how this event impacts the public too!
After the event, people are welcome to head back to her's and celebrate with camping, food, music & good vibes.
The We The Free Diamond is a peaceful, static demonstration akin to an art performance. This demonstration operates in a structured manner that triggers curiosity and interest from the public. We attempt to lead bystanders to a vegan conclusion through a combination of local standard-practice animal exploitation footage and outreach conversations with a value-based coaching approach.

The event will start at 11:30 for a briefing, so please aim to arrive 10 minutes early in case you experience delays. Make sure to pack light because no storage will be available, and if you are bringing a laptop/tablet ensure it is fully charged beforehand.
After the event, we will hopefully head out for a bite to eat and some socializing, depending on social distancing measures on the day of the event.
