Writing through Grief
About this Event
Writing often provides solace for people in times of great loss and the sharing of that writing aids the healing process whilst also helping to normalise an experience which can often feel taboo. As the festive season approaches, grief often gets louder too.
This special Writing through Grief session is taking place during Grief Awareness Week and is faciltated by our founder, Beverley Ward, who has regularly written about grief herself. The relaunch for her grief memoir, Dear Blacksmith, is taking place on 29th November.
Grief can be experienced in a multitude of ways and as a result of a wide range of losses. All of it is welcome in this group where we'll read, write and share pieces about loss.
This meeting will be in The Writers Workshop in Orchard Square.
