Writing the River
This workshop in association with Wise Words for Wellbeing will explore themes related to rivers and especially our local Great Stour.
We will read poems and prose about rivers and write in response. No prior experience is required. The emphasis is on spontaneity and writing in the moment. Please bring paper and something to write with. Other materials provided.

Victoria is a Writer, Researcher and Poetry Therapist and a Sessional Academic and an Associate in the Academy for Sustainable Futures at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Entry is by donation (minimum £1) towards Canterbury and East Kent Wise Words for Wellbeing, a community organisation offering free weekly sessions at Canterbury Library at the Beaney. Booking is essential as numbers are limited. We suggest £5 or £10 per session, depending on your means. All revenue will go towards poetry and wellbeing activities in East Kent.
