POETIC's evidence-based therapeutic model directly address the impact of trauma on developing adolescents with a history of child abuse, commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. While providing 24/7 access to support, our treatment model targets emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, self-harm and suicidal behaviors, and equips youth to bravely use their voices, reclaim their narratives, and persist forward.
