About this Event
Join us at 245 Hammersmith Road, for our Writing for Wellbeing weekly workshops. The workshops are designed to promote creativity, learn new ways of processing emotions, as well as an opportunity to increase social engagement - and hopefully, have a giggle or two!
We start with a ‘Brain Dump’ to remove everything going around our heads like a washing machine, then take it from there. We also have a mix of visual prompts, poetry, sharing time, life writing and guided freewrites.
No experience is required, and it’s fully open to people for whom English is not your first language. There is no obligation to share your work, just come along and try a session.
Pens & paper are provided. The building is fully accessible.
TIME: Every Thursday 11.00am - 12.30pmThe event is 1.5hrs with a 5min breakVENUE: Ground floor, BECHTEL HOUSE, 245 HAMMERSMITH ROAD, LONDON, W6 8PW

''This workshop was ‘lit’ literally. The energy in the room was positive as all creatives worked in a safe space.'
'Very insightful work. I thought I was unable to write, but with Jo’s encouragement, I was able to tap into my creative being.'
