@chelseaguevara is a US-Salvadorian poet originally from Salt Lake City. She has competed nationwide and was the 2024 Womxn of the World International champion. Her poetry is influenced by her Master's in Latin Studies, culture, history, and identity. She recently released a full collection "Cipota" with Button Poetry and uses her writing expertise to lead the Writing for the Stage Workshops.
With guidance from Chelsea, practice pulling concepts together into poetry you can share on the stage, in the group, or just with yourself. All you need for this free workshop is paper, pencil / pen, and ideas. (Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.)
