About this Event

Join us for an evening with romance/fantasy author Katie Escourt as we discuss her new book 'Inexplicable', the rise of romantasy and writing feminist characters in the genre!

About Inexplicable:

The crown is heavy. The heart is heavier.

With her family's power declining, Princess Briar faces an impossible choice: marry to secure her kingdom's future, or risk its downfall.

Trapped between duty and her desire for independence, she finds herself led astray by the mysterious and captivating Lord Thornwood, a man with dark secrets and even darker motives.

Thrust into a world of betrayal and blood magic, Briar must navigate treacherous alliances and confront the harsh truths of her father's rule in her quest for peace, all whilst struggling against her growing feelings for the man she has unintentionally bound herself to.

But in this tale of love, power, and sacrifice, Briar's journey is only just beginning. With war looming and time running out, will she be able to save her kingdom, and those she loves, before it's too late?
