Note: At our first meeting we decided to meet up every two weeks. But since I'll be gone a week in December and still wanted as many people to attend these as they could, I've decided to have 3 gatherings instead of 2 for the month.No need to come to all of them, but I'm looking forward to our next meeting ^_^

Writing is hard. You can have a great idea, get started, and still lose all your motivation before you're halfway through if you're not careful.
I've encountered a lot of people in the last few months who have recently undertaken creative endeavors or are interested in finding others who have done the same.
Having a support system and/or a reliable network who understand your craft and your dedication to it can be invaluable to any creative, new or established.
I was encouraged to reach out to some folks in Tulsa and it seemed like a good idea for ALL the local writers to know each other's faces and make connections.
So bring your ideas and come talk about work. Talk about your process, talk about the places in your projects holding you up and lets discuss the ways we've worked through them; lets share the tools we've developed to keep us focused (and sane) as we attempt this difficult and necessary profession called writing.
