AdvertisementQuality Improvement Plan - be prepared!!
We said stay tuned for changes ahead - and here they are!
ACECQA has advised that commencing next year (2023) there will be refinements to the Assessment & Rating processes including:
• an enhanced focus on the service’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) as part of its continuous quality improvement, rather than as a point in time preparation for assessment and rating.
• a shorter notice period of 1 - 5 days for most assessment and rating visits.
What does this mean for you?
1. You simply cannot afford to wait for your notice of Assessment and Rating to get your QIP into shape.
2. You will need to have an ongoing, embedded system to maintain up to date documents, and this must be uploaded and ready for the RA to review at any time.
3. You need this session! You will learn how to effectively assess your practice against the National Quality Standard, how to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and how to articulate them clearly and succinctly in your QIP.
Here’s what past participants have had to say about this session:
"I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for the workshop you did around the self-assessment tool. We recently went through assessment and ratings and have been rated as exceeding across all 7 areas. The workshop gave me the understanding and confidence." - Steph Selmes - Director Kin ELC Queanbeyan
"Thank you so much. The day was brilliant. We got so much from it BRILLIANT!" - Robyn Skene - Director Boolaroo Speers Point Community Kindergarten, Inc.
"Thank you, Jennifer. It was a great workshop! "- Melinda Lynch Nominated Supervisor Blackalls Park Preschool
If you are an educator, educational leader, provider, manager, or anyone who contributes to self-assessment and Quality Improvement Planning, you won't want to miss this session.
