Grace Theisen is an Americana/Blues artist originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her love for music started in her childhood living room, harmonizing to folk and blues songs with her family. Inspired by a variety of artists from bluegrass/folk singers like Patty Griffin and Alison Krauss to pop artists like Billy Joel and The Beatles to blues artists ranging from B.B. King to Bonnie Raitt.
--
Lucas Powell is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist musician born and based in mid-Michigan. Inspired by artists like Noah Gundersen, Phoebe Bridgers, Joshua James, and Sufjan Stevens, Lucas uses autobiographical storytelling to invite the audience to collectively sing, celebrate, grieve, and introspect.
Powell released his debut full-length album Michigan in August 2021 with contribution from Taylor Greenshields (Fundamental Sound Company) and engineering from Dan Zasadny (Eureka Records). Michigan was preceded by two singles: Firmament (released June 2021), which was featured on Audiotree Presents’ MichSongs playlist, and The Chippewa River (released July 2021).

"Some things 4 string" is the maxim of Sarah VE, a Grand Rapids musician sharing songs on small but mighty tenor guitars. After picking up her first instrument in her 30's and quickly falling in love with writing, she is expanding her vocal and musical horizons in 2023. True to her Libra nature, her songs strike a balance between bold and fragile, powerful and vulnerable.
--
Kate Pillsbury’s songwriting journey began when she inherited a hand-me-down guitar from her dad as a teenager. For twenty years, she has faithfully answered the calls of her muse, including a decade and counting as co-lead singer and guitarist for the band The Crane Wives. Sonically, her songs fall into the cracks between roots and pop, delving into themes of nature, ego, resilience and grief. She lives for howling into a microphone, exploring every note within her vocal range, and telling stories.
