Hey there! Join us for an epic afternoon of music and lyrics at the Writers 'Round: Austin Unofficial SXSW Pop Up Showcase. We will be featuring three rounds of amazing artists and three open rounds for songwriters looking for a chance to play. Only originals no covers please, open rounds will be picked from a hat. About Writers 'Round: LA-This is the chapter that started it all back in November 2019, when Greg Gilman of launched L.A.’s first weekly Nashville-style songwriter round showcase, which was designed to facilitate connection between artists from the local music scene and beyond. Greg and his growing team invite the best performers they know from a vast professional network to play original music in carefully curated rounds, and then welcomes any artists in the audience to drop their name in The Hat by 7:30 PM for a chance to be picked at the end of each curated round for a chance to play in shorter open rounds. WR:LA is held every Wednesday in Silverlake at , an ALL-AGES venue that offers FREE PARKING in a lot right outside, plus nearby street parking, as well as a full menu of delicious food and drink. Doors open at 7 PM for this FREE showcase and the LA music community hang, with music starting at 7:30 PM and wrapping up by 11 PM.
