Writer's Block Book Expo

Meet us in Long Beach, California, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at The Grand for the "Booked & Busy" event of the year!

Featuring local bestselling authors and writers from all over the world, this event highlights indie authors. An indie author is a writer who publishes their work without the help of an established press. While all authors are welcome and will be celebrated at this event, we will highlight several successful indie authors who believed in themselves enough to take the leap into self-publishing.

We are honored & pleased to highlight the lovely, beautiful, & talented actress and published author Karyn Parsons. Her book "Clouds Over California," will be featured at this event.

You may know her as Hilary Banks from the hit sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, however Ms. Karyn is also a notable author with multiple books.

We'll also be presenting author & book awards and conducting author interviews. Tips on publishing, marketing, and selling your book will be shared, as well as information about joining book collaboration projects and networking associations.

Vendors are welcome and will have access to the main event and book expo.

Main exhibitors wanted include authors, editors, graphic designers, and publishers. (We will accept a limited number of non-publishing or non-book related vendors). Space is limited for all vending.
