As you know, we have all worked so long for Garden Terrace project. We have continued to fundraise and have a wonderful donation to announce soon. In the meantime, we now have a chance to get funding from the state through a collaborative effort with colleagues from around Lane County. The state will be deciding its budget soon.The Coalition of Recreation, Arts, and Athletics (CoRAA) represents a group of local organizations with projects similar to ours that are close to completion. We’ve gotten together to pool our resources and lobby for state lottery funding.

Willamette Activity Center, Oakridge: Interior Upgrades

How you can help!
Among our best resources is YOU! We can only be successful if we all lend a hand. And legislators need to know that YOU care! It is so impactful to write a short email or letter to let them know. We are hosting a WRITE IN here at SMJ House on April 3rd with post cards and stamps. We will talk about CoRAA, our Garden Terrace Project and help you write a short note to our state reps so they know how important these projects are to you!
