One of the best gifts you can give your family is the story of your life, in written form. Don't you wish your parents and grandparents had written theirs? Have you been meaning to write your story but just haven't gotten around to it?
As a joint program, Trinity Ecumenical Parish and the Smith Mountain Arts Council will offer sessions to help you write your life story. The sessions will be designed to motivate and encourage you to write your story, at a length of your choosing, and provide the structure, discipline, and support to accomplish that.
The sessions will be held at Trinity Ecumenical Parish on Mondays in June, from 10 a.m. to noon, starting on June 1. They will be led by Jim Morrison, a member of Lake Writers and Trinity, who has written his story and the stories of some of his relatives, as well as five books, a drama, screenplay, and documentary.
