Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ – We Are All Related. Join Diane as she welcomes readers and writers to this year’s NEA Big Read, which will be grounded by the value of RECIPROCITY. She will outline the month’s journey and turn the floor over to Arrow Broken Poetry Collective for the first of the month’s writing workshops. Bring a notebook and your favorite pen.
In partnership with Franconia Sculpture Park and author Diane Wilson, NEA Big Read in the St. Croix Valley will center Wilson’s novel The Seed Keeper — a river story. The author’s connection to, and expressions of, a river are profound. The natural spaces of the St. Croix River Valley are compelling influences on local creatives including on the author herself.
APRIL 1 / 5-7pm / Franconia Sculpture Park Commons
