About this Event

Join WRISE Seattle for a tour of the Washington Clean Energy Testbeds, along with some casual networking! Presentation and tours start promptly at 5PM.

The University of Washington Clean Energy Institute (CEI) opened the Testbeds in 2017 to accelerate the development, scale-up, and adoption of novel climate technologies. This open-access facility, founded on the principle that users retain all intellectual property, has advanced capabilities for prototyping, testing, and demonstrating new technologies.

This WRISE event will include an educational presentation, followed by tours of the Testbeds facility and a casual networking opportunity for attendees (our events are always open to non-WRISE members and to people of all genders). We expect to provide light refreshments.

Due to space restrictions, the event is capped at 60 people. Following a presentation that starts promptly at 5PM, Testbeds staff will lead tours in groups of 15. Feel free to email the WRISE Seattle team at [email protected] if you have trouble accessing the event space.
