Welcome to Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN)!

We are excited to invite you to our inaugural Learner Onboarding Welcome Event and look forward to celebrating the beginning of your clinical placement journey with us.

As of April 1, 2025, Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital officially merged to become Waterloo Regional Health Network. Building on more than 90 years of partnership, this exciting milestone reflects our shared commitment to providing exceptional patient care through combined expertise, innovation, and collaboration.

Together, we are also working toward the future of healthcare with the development of the new state-of-the-art hospital at the University of Waterloo's North Campus.

Your clinical placement is an important step in your professional journey, and we want to ensure you feel welcomed, supported, and prepared from day one. This event has been designed to help you build confidence, connect with fellow learners, and become familiar with WRHN before beginning your placement.
