Petersburg National Battlefield invites you to participate in the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Poplar Grove National Ceremony. This brief ceremony honors America’s armed forces with a presentation of colors, the National Anthem, and laying of wreaths. The ceremony begins at noon on Saturday, December 14, and attendees are invited to assist with placing wreaths on graves.
Parking is at Richard Bland College only, 11301 Johnson Road, Petersburg, VA. There will be a free shuttle bus to and from the cemetery starting at 10:45 am and will run every 15 minutes, with the last pick-up at approximately 11:45 am. Those with mobility issues are allowed to park at the cemetery.
