The annual Wreath Retirement for Wreaths Across America will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on January 24th. This event is held rain, shine, snow, or cold and will conclude once all wreaths and winter decorations have been cleared from every section of the cemetery.Volunteers are needed to help remove wreaths from headstones and columbarium, transport them to central pickup points along the cemetery roads, and assist with loading them into trucks or trailers for disposal in designated dumpsters. This is a meaningful community service project that helps maintain the cemetery’s dignity and appearance.

Helpful Tools to Bring:

*A plastic sled (if snow is present)
*A tarp (to drag wreaths to the roadside)

*Wear old clothes and gloves; pine sap is common when handling greenery.
