Get creative this season! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn techniques for designing and assembling beautiful seasonal fall or winter wreaths using fresh greenery, natural accents, and decorative elements. Leave with your own unique wreath ready to display and a set of skills to make more for any occasion.
Audience Target: Adults and teens ages 10+. Ideal for anyone interested in learning how to build their own wreaths.
Format: Classroom Workshop
Workshop Benefits/Learning Outcomes:
* Identify a variety of greenery, natural materials, and decorative accents suitable for wreath making.
* Demonstrate basic techniques for assembling and securing materials into a balanced and visually appealing wreath.

Presenter: Chad Shelby has been studying Horticulture since 2018. He completed his A.A.S. in Horticulture and is currently pursuing his B.S. in Agriculture Education. He has been the project manager for several pro bono projects, specifically ones that involve Non-Profits like the C.A.R.E Clinic and St. John’s Episcopal Church. His work includes The Staff Garden at the C.A.R.E. Clinic, Community Patriot Arts Connection Veteran’s Garden, and building the Daylily Garden at Cape Fear Botanical Garden.
