About this Event
Kick off this winter season by creating your own natural wreathe to adorn your home. Join us for an immersive hands-on workshop at the Theodore Payne Foundation!
We’ll start with an 18-inch grapevine wreath and have access to an array of native plant cuttings—both fresh and dried—along with ribbons, floral wire, and glue guns. Let your creativity bloom as you craft a unique, nature-inspired decoration.
Celebrate the holidays that matter to you, by incorporating the beauty of California native plants in a fun, creative atmosphere!
All materials will be provided. However, participants are welcome to bring personal touches from home, such as bows, ornaments, or special cuttings from your garden.
This workshop is open to families. Children aged 10+ are welcome to join a ticketed-parent in making a wreath together (one child per adult). Parents are responsible for their child’s participation and safety.
Maryanne Pittman is the Director of Public Programs at the Theodore Payne Foundation, a Certified California Naturalist, and an experienced art and design professional. She holds degrees in Fine Art and Biology, and specializes in conservation education.
