The workshops will be held outside so please dress for the weather. If you have a favorite pair of plant clippers, wire cutters, scissors, or gloves, please bring them, otherwise we will provide everything you need.
A delicious farm to table lunch will be served. The food we serve is almost always vegetarian, often vegan and gluten free.
Limited to 15 participants. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $55-95. All proceeds will benefit CNGF educational programs and to maintain the garden for generations to come.
Please choose whatever tier suits you and your family's resources best.
If you have limited financial circumstances, please don't allow that to prevent you from attending and reach out to us through the "Contact" button at the bottom of the event listing and we can make arrangements!
Can't wait to see you for these holiday events!
The workshop will be hosted by Jessicka "Joosey" Chamberlin and Christina O'Connor.
Joosey is a CNGF volunteer and board member who grew up on a Christmas Tree Farm in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. For 25 years, her family ran a Christmas shop where they created and sold artisanal holiday wreaths and arrangements. Joosey will share her talents at this hands-on workshop by teaching us how to use native foraged plants to make gorgeous wreaths that will bring holiday spirit and welcome your guests throughout the season!
Christina O’Connor has been a central force at California Native Garden Foundation for the past seven years. An amazing cook, plant whisperer, decorating denizen with an extraordinary eye for beauty, and life of every party, Christina brings joy wherever she goes.
Joosey and Christina will be accompanied by experienced CNGF volunteers to ensure that we all enjoy our afternoon of holiday delight and nature's abundance.
