Wreath Laying Ceremony honoring PFC Phyllis Long Green, CPB 6888, WWII. 6888th Central Ballalion, WW II. African American women, the only all0Black female unit to serve overseas during the war: The first minority Women's Army Corps. Ceremony takes place at Charles Evans Cemetery 1119 Centre Ave. followed by a reception and light refreshments at Berks History Center, 940 Centre Avenue.
