Wrap the Poles Purple

SafeNet marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month each October with a series of community events. One of our most visible initiatives is “Wrap the Poles Purple.” SafeNet staff, the Erie Police Department, and community volunteers will join together to wrap every third parking meter or pole with a purple ribbon. This act serves as a powerful visual reminder of the statistic that roughly 1 in 3 people are affected by domestic violence. Please feel free to join us on Thursday, October 1st, at 10:00 AM!
