Curfew and We Play House Recordings are two Ghent-based crews that have been flying the flag of house high since the days they entered the scene. We Play House Recordings is of course the brainchild of Belgian maverick Red D and home to such artists like San Soda, FCL, Lady Linn, Mona Lee and many many more. All those people have of course also graced the decks at Curfew on many occasions, with Red D being a regular since the very first Curfew parties that started over 10 years ago as the love baby of Laudi & Thomas and our mutual soulfather Danny.
It’s safe to speak of like-minded souls in music and defenders of the house.
On 19th December both crews are teaming up to take over that other legendary Ghent institute called Charlatan. Two rooms taking in all the different strands of house music, from deep and soulful to funky and disco, from acid and oldskool up to progressive and trippy with a stellar line-up of Belgian and not so Belgian talent:
