Get ready for the inaugural WSO Theatre & Film Festival! A four-day celebration of storytelling produced by WOW Studio One and in partnership with the city of Columbia, SC that brings together theatre artists, filmmakers, writers, actors, and audiences from across the state (and beyond) for a weekend of art, inspiration, connection, and possibility. This festival is all about giving both emerging and established creatives a platform to showcase their voices. Expect a mix of live theatre productions and film screenings, engaging workshops and masterclasses, networking and pitch sessions, audition opportunities, and culminating in a red-carpet awards ceremony honoring standout work.
Whether you create plays, short films, pilots, trailers or simply love experiencing bold, heartfelt storytelling, WSOTFF offers a space where art meets opportunity. Developers will present cash prizes and awards across categories like Best Short Play, Best Short Film, Best One-Act Play, Best Episodic/Pilot, Best Trailer, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress (film & theatre), Best Screenplay or Playwright, and more.
