J. Bookwalter Winery produces Washington State red and white wines known for their meticulous winemaking and use of exceptional vineyards. Jerry was among the 1st large vineyard managers in the TriCity area as WA wines began. Established then together with his son John as he grew up developed their own winery bringing their 10 generations of farming across the country to bear!.
Their wines often feature rich fruit-forward profiles with notes of dark fruit chocolate and spices as seen in their Cabernet Sauvignon and other blends. They offer diverse wines including the full-bodied Foreshadow Cabernet Sauvignon and the crisp balanced Readers Riesling.
Richness and Smoothness: Many of their red wines particularly their Cabernets are characterized by smooth silky textures and tannins.
Complex Flavors: Expect aromas and flavors such as blackberries black currant black cherry fig and hints of cedar chocolate and cola.
John is an entertainer at heart a marketing machine and a very enthusiastic Winery & Restauranteur this is a fun tasting to learn more about the development of WA wines & where they are headed!
REMEMBER: This is a MONDAY night tasting - NFL has a late kick-off conveniently too!
