About this Event
Workshop Facilitator - Stephanie Fradette
Learn the art of weaving and create your own colourful bookmarks using yarn and simple weaving tools. In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore pattern, colour and design while discovering how woven structures are made.
Experiment with different colour combinations and weaving techniques to create a collection of unique bookmarks to take home. A fun introduction to textile making that encourages creativity, concentration and design skills.
All materials are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
All young people need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a family-friendly workshop suitable for children aged 8+, so bring along the whole family – parents, carers, grandparents and friends are all welcome.
Together, we are committed to making creativity accessible to everyone by providing affordable, high-quality arts activities in the heart of Aberdeen city centre throughout the summer holidays. We aim to create welcoming, inclusive and inspiring spaces where children, young people, adults and families can explore their creativity, learn new skills and spend quality time together.
By attending this workshop, you are supporting the local creative community and Charlie House's charitable work.
This workshop is part of the SPARK! Summer Art Club delivered by SMART Art Agency in partnership with Bon Accord and EDIT Aberdeen.
