The installation showcases Jamdani textile – declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Bangladesh in 2013 by UNESCO. The textiles are known for their delicate weaving technique for discontinuation feeding the denser wrap thread inlaid with the fine warp thread to create motifs throughout the fabric.
