About this Event
About the Session
The breath is at the centre of existence: it is the first thing we do when we are born and the last thing we do when we leave this world. How we breathe in between can deeply shape our experience of life.
In the Wounds to Wisdom Workshop-A Breathwork Journey, we will co-create a loving, sacred space to:
- REMEMBER the BREATH as our anchor, guide, and companion. Our life source.
- RECONNECT to our BODY as the archive of truth and embodied awareness.
- RECLAIM our LIFE as we let go of what no longer serves and open to possibility
This session is an opportunity to pause, reset, and reconnect â with your breath, your body, and your inner wisdom. Through guided Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) and a carefully curated music journey, you'll be supported in gently releasing what no longer serves you, so you can open up to more freedom, clarity, and ease within.
What You'll Experience:
- A calm, supportive space to slow down and turn inward
- Grounding and connection exercises to settle the nervous system
- A powerful guided breathwork session (Conscious Connected Breathing)
- Integration time with optional sharing and reflection
- A sense of renewed clarity, presence, and connection
- Ground and close the space together to support transition back into your day
- Self-care and integration practices to support processing post-session
đ As a gesture of appreciation, each breather will receive a small, thoughtful gift to support your wellbeing and integration after the session.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is breath awareness! We breathe our whole lives from the day we enter this world to the day we leave. But when we breathe consciously, it becomes a powerful tool for regulating our nervous system, finding calm/ease, focus, presence, energy, healing, and much more.
By changing how we breathe, we can change how we feel. The remembrance to take even a single, conscious breath can empower us with the choice of what happens next. A choice that we may not have seen or had before.
Benefits of Breathwork?
- Emotional health and wellbeing
- Reduced symptoms of stress and anxiety
- Better focus and mental clarity
- Improved energy levels
- Improved Resiliency to navigate life challenges
- Better sleep
- Stronger immune system
- Improved Digestion
- Processing and integration of past traumas
- Deepen connection with oneself and others
- Opening heart to give and receive love
- Support with change and life transitions
- Transformation towards a more purposeful, fuller life and much more!
Who can do Breathwork?
Whether we realize it or not, we are always breathing from the moment we take our first breath to the moment we take our last. Breathwork is simply becoming aware of our breath, so everyone is welcomed and encouraged to breathe!
No previous experience is needed â just a willingness to breathe. You'll be guided every step of the way.
đ Important Info:
- Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water, a journal (optional), and anything that helps you feel supported (e.g.blanket, eye mask). Yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, pillows are provided but please feel free to bring your own.

About Your Facilitator Parnita (Parni)
Hi there! It is lovely to meet you. I am a 400 hour trauma-informed breathwork facilitator trained through Alchemy of Breath and the founder of Untold Breathwork. Prior to this, I worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at the largest trauma hospital in BC, Canada for > 10 years, supporting the most critically ill patients across the province.I found breathwork at one of my lowest points in my life.
Spending most of it with severe depression, chronic pain, and debilitating dis-ease after surviving through sexual/psychological abuse and brain surgery. I felt unsafe and betrayed by my body, so I punished it until it could not sustain itself, leaving me bedridden. Enough was enough. I was called to heal: open my heart again and to see all these bad things didn't happen to me. They happened for me. My body did not betray me. It carried me through. It was through remembering my breath and reconnecting with my body that I am still here: coming home to who I AM and always was.
Through my healing journey, my breath became my best friend and my anchor. It is here for me when I am feeling scared, anxious, angry, or any other feeling that would otherwise overwhelm me.
I committed myself to this work to help others, like you, remember and reconnect with their breath: this beautiful gift we all carry with us. It is through breathing deep and opening our hearts that we not only heal but free ourselves. This can feel scary, maybe even overwhelming so I will take love and care for your nervous system, honoring your needs, and we will always go at your pace.
