Worship in the Park at 11:00, with Union Church of Belleville, Freeburg Journey and Bethel United Methodist Church of Mascoutah, with a picnic lunch to follow at noon. The theme of our picnic is "America 250th Celebration - Celebrating Together - Union, Journey and Bethel". Bring your own beverage and lawn chairs. You may also bring lawn games and toys. Fried chicken will be provided, and we are asking Union Members to bring side dishes, Journey to bring salads and Bethel to bring desserts. Suggested donation to offset the cost of the chicken is $5.00 per person, children10 and under are free. T-shirts to commemorate the occasion will be available for purchase, if desired. Please wear red, white and blue for this festive occasion!
