Worship In The Park
About this Event
DETROIT, IT’S TIME TO PRAY. 🙏🏾❤️
Our city has seen so much pain. Violence. Crime. Car accidents. Families grieving. Children going missing. Hearts filled with fear, anxiety, and hopelessness.
But as the people of God, we are not called to stand by in silence—we are called to pray.
Now more than ever, Detroit doesn’t just need more opinions. It needs the presence of God.
Let’s come together with one heart, one faith, and one purpose: to lift up the name of Jesus and cry out for our city. We believe that God still hears the prayers of His people, still heals broken hearts, still brings peace where there is chaos, and still transforms lives.
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
The Bible reminds us that when believers gather together in His name, His presence is with them.
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20
We are also called to pray for everyone and to intercede on behalf of our communities.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.” — 1 Timothy 2:1
This is more than an event. It’s a call to seek God together.
Come expecting His peace.Come expecting hope.Come expecting healing.Come expecting hearts to be changed.Come believing that no city is beyond the reach of God’s mercy.
Let’s worship boldly.Let’s pray fervently.Let’s stand together in faith for Detroit.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16
Detroit, we’re believing that God is not finished with our city. Join us as we lift high the name of Jesus and ask Him to move in a mighty way. 🙌🏾❤️
