Part of our Summer Dance Camps 2021 is the Worship Dance Workshop - Creation’s Songs.Experience the joy and power of worship through dance! Our theme explores the scripture found in 2 Corinthians, Chapter 5, Verse 17. CBS faculty will guide the dancers to seek God’s direction for their lives and develop their potential in dance through technique and inspirational training. Together we will explore the knowledge of God’s glory for our hearts- “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!” Each day begins with Creative Worship, where our dancers can use their artistic expression in praise and worship and experience His presence through dance. Following the accounts and example of King David and Abraham’s sister Miriam, students express themselves through dance and inspire others to worship the Lord through movement.
There are progressive levels of instruction from age 6-teen, with 4.5 hours of daily instruction in ballet, contemporary, choreography, creative worship, and Bible study. Students will learn choreography throughout the week to present in a Studio Performance on Friday for family and friends.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt and will be served dinner before the performance!
