About this Event
Worship Dance Sundays is a first of it's kind pop up dance class from Christina Clark of Arise Dance Ministry. All skill levels are welcome.

The March 26 class will be a workshop dedicated to learning how to dance with different types of worship tools including - worship flags, ribbon streamers, and glory rings. It will be co-facilitated with Stephanie Bryant an amazing flag artist and experienced worship dance leader.
Who should attend?
Anyone that is interested in learning how to incorporate movement into worship through dance. Current and former dancers are encouraged to attend, especially if they are looking for a community-based group to dance with, desire to gain new skills, or want to get back into dancing without joining a church ministry team.
You do not need to have dance experience, but you should be physically able to participate in class.
The event is for ages 16 and up, however if you have a child that is highly interested in worship dance and will remain with you the entire time, you can purchase a Participant + Child (under age 16) ticket.

How to prepare?
Dress in clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in. Dance clothing can be worn, but it is not required. The floor is wood laminate, so please consider dance shoes or bare feet.
Please bring your Bible, notebook, pen and water bottle. For this Mar 26 class, bring all your worship tools to class - the facilitators will bring extra items but we will not have enough for everyone.
Plan to arrive early to park and get settled in for start of class
What will we be doing?
The class will be 90% dance. You will receive teaching as we go along and will get a chance to practice what you have learned at the end. The event is closed to the public, only participants are allowed in the room in order to make it a comfortable space to worship in. Each class will focus on different techniques, music and choreography. Below is an example of what you can expect:
