Worrywart Workshop

Come along to a creative afternoon workshop to make your own Worrywart creature!

Join Zoe Scott, local artist and maker behind Cured, in a crafty 2-hour workshop to explore Scottish legends in books from our shop, a wee walk on the battlefield to collect pieces of nature, which you can mould into your very own Worrywart.

You'll get the chance to draw, name, and give your character attributes before crafting them out of air-dry foam. Be as creative as you like by making animals, people, legendary creatures, or made-up ones!

With your ticket, you'll get the two hour workshop, a creature to craft and take home, and refreshments to keep your inspiration flowing.

The workshop is best suited for kids aged 8 and up.

Cured Luxury Concrete Goods is run by maker Zoe Scott and based near Glasgow in a zero-waste home studio. Inspired by the rugged natural landscapes, she juxtaposes the wild and organic with the brutalist and industrial to create sustainable hand crafted homewares.

Worrywarts by Cured tap into the ancient idea of talismans and totems while celebrating storytelling, all in a very modern way. Each Worrywart is handcrafted individually using slip-cast concrete in reusable silicone moulds before being waxed and polished. They’re incredibly pleasing, tactile objects made to be held, displayed and snuggled into pockets.
