About this Event
Wormsloe Memorial Ceremony
Wormsloe State Historic Site invites the community to gather for a reflective event dedicated to honoring the lives, labor, and legacy of the enslaved men, women, and children who lived and worked on this land. Through remembrance, storytelling, and collective reflection, we acknowledge their humanity, resilience, and enduring impact on the cultural and historical fabric of Savannah, Georgia. This gathering offers an opportunity to pause, listen, and bear witness to histories too often marginalized, ensuring that those who were enslaved here are remembered with dignity and truth.Due to limited capacity, advance registration is required. Attendees are respectfully asked to wear all white as a symbol of remembrance and to honor those who have become our ancestors.
